So the likelihood is that the vast majority of you will be listening to this because you want to answer clinical questions to provide the best practice possible to your patients. The exciting thing is that there is a wealth of knowledge out there that can change all of our practice for the better, the secret is getting hold of the right pieces of research. In this section we’ll discuss just how that is done.

Having formulated your PICO you can use it to identify papers that may help you answer your questions. Once the papers are identified the critical appraisal can begin!
